Software Installer/Trainer

A Software Installer/Trainer must have a broad background in computer technologies including network support, software installation, configuration, and troubleshooting. This position requires frequent interaction with Hershey’s customers to provide a high degree of satisfaction. This position requires a strong attention to detail and ability to organize and effectively execute on company processes and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Scope out project time lines
  • Configure and install Hershey software
  • Accurately estimate resource costs
  • Engage appropriate internal and external resources to accomplish the project goals
  • Manage the clients' expectations through honesty, and building strong relationships
  • Maintains a deep understanding of each Singularity product Trains clients on-site on the proper use of each product
  • Conduct classroom training for clients

Requirements

  • Solid interpersonal relations skills
  • Ability to multi-task and to anticipate problems
  • High level of initiative and goal oriented
  • Strong creative problem solving skills in both simple and complex transactions
  • Multi-tasking and highly flexible
  • Able to work effectively under pressure
  • Ability creatively solve problems
  • Experience with Java - Dot Net - JavaScript - VB Script - Groovy script - XML
  • Database Administration / Support Experience (MySQL, SQL Server, Oracle)
  • Windows / Linux / UNIX Platform Experience
  • Project Management / MS Project Experience
  • Adobe Forms experience is a plus
  • Document Imaging / Workflow experience a plus
  • Technical writing or training experience a plus
  • Higher education administration (registrar, Financial Aid, etc.) a plus
  • B.S. in Computer Science or related experience

This is a full-time position. Salary is commensurate with experience.

This position is located in our Santa Fe Springs or Charlotte office.
