Territory Executive - Sales

The Territory Executive is an enterprise software sales executive with an assigned territory. The Territory Executive markets Hershey’s software/hardware products and services to new and existing clients within the higher education vertical through direct, face-to-face contact. This position requires problem solving, ownership & resolution skills. The Territory Executive must be a process orientated individual able to operate under minimal supervision with judgment for independent actions.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a territory plan and account plans to achieve an assigned sales quota
  • Maintain solid business relationships with clients
  • Negotiate business terms and conditions with clients
  • Conduct corporate presentations and product demonstrations
  • Manage budget within assigned territory
  • Attend marketing events including but not limited to webinars, trade shows, seminars, and customer conferences
  • Provide accurate forecasts on a weekly basis
  • Follow the Hershey sales process diligently
  • Develop opportunities and relationships with strategic partners
  • Maintain accurate information in Salesforce.com
  • Maintain thorough and up-to-date knowledge in all products & services
  • Adhere to corporate guidelines for proposals and client communications

Requirements

  • Strong Solutions/consultative selling skills
  • Solid interpersonal relations and account management skills
  • Experience in the higher education vertical is desired
  • Experience with Goldmine is desired
  • Highly successful sales career with history of exceeding quota
  • Excellent written, verbal, presentation skills and analytical skills
  • Travel approximately 50%
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Marketing
  • Experience selling imaging, document/content management, workflow, and/or business process management a plus

This is a full-time position. Compensation includes salary and commissions.

This position is located in either our Des Moines or Charlotte office.
