Singularity 7.0 Raises the Bar for ECM Solutions

SANTA FE SPRINGS, CALIFORNIA — 5/1/2007 — Hershey Systems today announced Singularity 7.0 will be released to manufacturing on June 1. Singularity 7.0 delivers unparalleled security, performance, and reliability. The NEW “Vista-like” look and feel and navigation provides a modern, user-friendly experience. Security, workflow, activity logging and on-line forms were focal points in the design of Singularity 7.0.

“Singularity 7.0 is the most secure solution in the ECM market,” said Dax Coan, CEO & CTO of Hershey Systems. SafeKeep Server, new with Singularity 7.0, eliminates the storage of identity related data as well as providing for AES encryption of all content and metadata. In addition, Singularity 7.0 provides a browser-based bio-authentication interface that utilizes the minutia associated with each user’s fingerprint to identify the user for login.

With 7.0, Singularity Workflow provides a single ‘Dashboard’ interface into a user’s workflow processes and tasks. Users can work on tasks, view graphical representations of their workload and collaborate on tasks with their coworkers via a single easy-to-use interface. In addition to the Dashboard, Singularity 7.0 provides for Extensible Service Processes (ESPs). These ESPs allow the institution to create, extend, and reuse workflow processes through a simple and intuitive interface.

Activity based logging with action rollback is available with Singularity 7.0 and allows an administrator to review and reverse all actions that have been performed on documents, users, and tasks.

Singularity Forms has been improved to allow real-time population of demographic and related data. All forms now have the ability to be saved in a partially completed format. In addition, the forms bulk-processing interface has been enhanced to handle the automated import of massive amounts of structured data in short periods of time.
