The time spent searching, retrieving and managing student records is cumbersome, time consuming and expensive. Singularity enables institutions to manage the “virtual” student record by providing real-time access to student records in a secured environment. Singularity enforces records management policies to ensure colleges and universities are retaining student records for the appropriate period of time.
Before Singularity was implemented, we spent a lot of frustrated time looking for misplaced student materials. Now we are able to ensure that a student’s file is exactly where it needs to be and not hiding behind someone’s desk. And, we have reclaimed space once occupied by numerous metal cabinets full of file folders and replaced them with a light and airy space for staff workstations. In addition, our critical documents are no longer exposed to physical loss due to a natural catastrophe such as a fire.
